Simple Steps to Begin Your Journey
We understand starting services can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to make the process as simple and supportive as possible for your family.
Initial Contact
Families can contact Peace of Mind ABA to discuss their child’s needs and ask questions about services. During this conversation, we will gather basic information and determine whether our services may be a good fit for your family.
Insurance Verification
If you plan to use insurance, our team will verify your benefits and determine coverage for ABA services. We will explain any requirements, authorizations, or documentation needed before services can begin.
Assessment
A BCBA will conduct an initial assessment to better understand your child’s strengths, needs, and areas of development. This assessment helps guide the creation of an individualized treatment plan.
Treatment Plan & Authorization
Based on the assessment, a treatment plan will be developed outlining goals and recommended services. If insurance is being used, the plan will be submitted for authorization.
Begin Services
Once authorization is received, therapy sessions will begin according to the recommended schedule. Your BCBA will continue to monitor progress and adjust the program as needed to ensure your child’s continued growth.
